We have just received word that you should be able to join our meetings when our room is open without having to download Paltalk, just by clicking the link here: {Direct link to our Paltalk Room}

I am leaving the rest of the information as it is, in case there are problems with the above.

I have tested the link. What it does is links you to our room through Internet Explorer. You do have to choose a user name and password to enter the room, but you do not have to download Paltalk, although a button is provided there for the download.

We are thankful that we are able to broadcast our entire meetings live over Paltalk, a chat program that allows simultaneous text and audio communication over the internet. Paltalk is free, and can be downloaded and installed by clicking this link. At the Paltalk Site, click on Sign Up. You will need to choose whether you want the free version (with pop-up ads) or the bannerless version (paid subscription). You can upgrade from free to bannerless at any time, so you might try the free version to begin with, and upbrade later. Once Paltalk is downloaded and installed, go into the group category of "Christianity," and join the room entitled, "Faith Assembly Live Meeting."

In fact, Paltalk has video as well as text and audio. We are now recommending that you download the latest version of Paltalk. We are considering whether to broadcast a camera view of the Faith Assembly meeting along with the audio feed. We have not yet started sending the video, but we encourage you to go ahead and install the latest version. It simply replaces the previous version with an updated interface. This has no bearing on your Paltalk account, if, for example, you have paid the fee for the bannerless version. That is merely a matter of what the Paltalk server sends you, regardless of which version of the software you are running.

Please observe the following rules in the room:

FAITH ASSEMBLY PALTALK RULES

1.)    Any person who enters the room to be abusive, divisive, to debate with the message, or to exhibit any other conduct or behavior that is inappropriate for a Christian* will be handled in the following manner:
a.)   For the first offense, the offender will be issued a private admonition.
b.)   For the second offense, the offender will be issued a second private warning.
c.)   For the third offense, the offender will be bounced from the room.
2.)    A person bounced from the room cannot re-enter for 24 hours, but the name will be kept on record, and if that person returns on another occasion, he or she will be be issued a private warning on the first offense and bounced immediately on the second offense.
3.)    Any person who has been banned two times will be given a private warning as soon as he or she enters the room and will be bounced on the first offense.
4.)    After the third bounce, the person will be banned from the room; that is, they will be unable to enter the room at all. If they are truly repentant for the misconduct, they may contact the room moderator and express that their willingness to abide by the rules of conduct, and may be re-admitted to the room.
5.)    Any person using vulgar or obscene language will be bounced immediately without warning.

* Unchristlike behavior includes the following:
1.)    Disrespect for the speaker, moderator or anyone in the room
       2.)    Obscene language
       3.)    Debating
4.)    Posting scripture irrelevant to the message
5.)    Anything that at the discretion of the moderator seems inappropriate.

The moderator will determine if such conduct warrants disciplinary action and the moderator's decision is final.

Also, the moderator will determine if excess chat warrants admonition to everyone in the room. Excess chat can be distracting to those who come to hear the teaching of the Word of God, and may defeat the purpose of the room.

The purpose of the moderator is to maintain order in the room so the Word of God is unhindered.  There are people whose reason for entering is to hear the Word of God. Some may not have a church home where they can hear teaching that can change their lives.
