Hall Family History  - The Buffalo Set

Started Site - 11/04/2002       Last Update - 11/08/2002

As described by C. Mitchell Hall in the 1979 publication of his book,  Jenny Wiley Country, Volume III, there were "at least three sets of Hall's in Eastern Kentucky. One is known as the Buffalo set, while another is known as the Beaver Creek set, and the third those discussed first hearin." (page 448) This purpose of this site is to trace the Buffalo set and where they originated.  It is, however, likely that the Buffalo set will cross the path of the other two.

IF I HAVE MIS-QUOTED ANYONE - YOU HAVE TO LET ME KNOW OR IT WILL BE WRONG FOREVER - WE NEED THIS TO BE AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE.  I will only use the first names of the living people that I reference at this site, unless you give me permission to use your full name.  If you want to contact them, let me know.

Start here with the BASIC outline of the family tree.  Click on the highlighted names to follow that person's history and conversation concerning that person:
