A. David B. Hall (b. ca. 1820-1826) (disappeared?)

DOCUMENTS:

1.  The report by James Henry Hall states that John M. and David B. were the only two children born to John Hall and Elizabeth Jennings.  It goes on to state that David entered the Civil War and was never heard from again. -- Angel

FOR DISCUSSION:

11/03/02 I have poked around a little - I have these suspicions - I found a David Hall, age 22, in 1850 living in Rowan, NC (living with an unknown person to me).  I also found a David B. Hall that signed up with the Confederate army in August of 1863 from NC, and by October of 1864 he was reported as "deserted." Could this be the David B. that disappeared???
11/03/02 At one point in my work, I thought that maybe this David B. Hall was the one married to Betty Music.  If he disappeared, she, too, would have remarried. But to who, and where, and when...  This is just another thought to mix things up a bit.  It would explain how we get a John Hall and Elizabeth Jennings AND a David Hall and Betty Music.  I have never seen any dates associated with the David/Betty theory -whether the one married to Betty was the brother of John M. or the father of John M.- dates would make it easier to tell which generation. -- Angel
